Selendang gedog from Tuban

Description

Tuban is the only area of Indonesia that weaves the cloth for their batik, called gedog. It is a distinctive village style cotton weave and makes a wonderful base for the mutlti-colored, and patterned batik. This piece is quite long would make a wonderful table runner, or wall hanging.
